Parents/guardians of any student residing within the CVUSD attendance boundary may apply to enroll their student in a CVUSD school other than their residence school through the district’s Intradistrict Open Enrollment process. Open Enrollment transfer applications for the 2026–2027 school year will be available online from November 3, 2025 (7:30 a.m.) through December 5, 2025 (4:30 p.m.). To ensure the safety of all students, staff, and families, it’s essential that pick-up and drop-off procedures are followed. Canyon Hills parking lot expectations are: Entering Parking Lot - Allow CVUSD buses the right of way at all times. - Students must exit car to the right at crosswalk. - There are three lanes to use. - No left turn into the parking lot when traveling south on Madrugada Dr. - DRIVE SLOWLY AND WITH EXTREME CAUTION! - Students walking to school must use sidewalks. Exiting Parking Lot - Students must use crosswalk to enter car. - All three lanes merge into one exit. - Cars may exit left or right out of the parking lot. - DRIVE SLOWLY AND WITH EXTREME CAUTION! - Students walking home must use sidewalks.
