Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year at Canyon Hills Junior High! Whether you're a returning family or new to our campus, I am excited to begin this journey with you and your student.
This school year will be my 23rd year in education. Junior High students have always been a passion of mine. Teaching Junior High for 11 years was a highlight for me in my educational career. For the past 12 years, I have been in administration which has truly been a blessing. I deeply care about CVUSD, Canyon Hill’s Community, students and staff. It is an honor to serve as the principal.
At Canyon, we are proud to offer a safe and supportive environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Junior High is a unique time in a young person’s life, and we are committed to helping every student navigate it with confidence.
CVUSD’s theme this year is “Thrive” – a reflection of our belief that every student has the potential to lead, inspire, and succeed. Our dedicated staff is ready to guide students through rigorous academics, meaningful connections, and opportunities that help them develop their voices and values.
Junior high is a time of great change and growth, and we are here to partner with you every step of the way. I encourage open communication as my door is always open and welcome your involvement in our school community.
